| Description of the problem | There was a recall back in 2008 regarding fuel leak. I had it fixed under the recall back in 08 and thought the problem was resolved. Until now sometimes i would smell gas in my car but would go away no big deal but on 8/10/12 the gas smell was so bad and saw gas leaking from the rear driver side of my car. I know this is a known problem with my car as i have found many similar complaints on the mercedes forums. Dealer will not do anything for me since the recall was worked on. Please kindly advise me what steps to take as this is a serious and dangerous issue. |
